New Library of Digital Audiobooks

Your library card has always had access to all the digital books and audio books in the Wisconsin Digital Library, but now you have access to another online library of audio books hosted by Rbdigital. Of the thousands there, 28,000 are always available, no holds list! New titles are also there, and their holds lists are significantly shorter than in the WDL where you’re in line with the entirety of the state’s library patrons. There’s a broad selection of fiction and nonfiction books. You can quickly get to the library by clicking on the link above. Listen to any of these books using your computer, Kindle, or smartphone.
Setup – Step 1:
Go to the website: https://monarchwi.rbdigital.com/ and click on “REGISTER”.
Enter the requested information and click “REGISTER”. (If you do this from your device’s browser, you might not see “REGISTER”. Click on the outline of a person in the upper right corner. At the bottom of the next screen, you’ll see “REGISTER NOW”.
Step 2:
(If using RBdigital exclusively on a computer, skip the next two steps.)
Go to your app store and download the RBdigital app.
Step 3:
Open the app and login using the email address and password you created in Step 1.
Browse or Search! The home screen showcases popular titles in the available formats: eAudiobook, and eMagazine. Tap on the cover to see more information about the item.
To browse titles in a specific format, tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner of your screen and tap on the format you prefer.
To search, tap on the looking glass icon in the upper right corner and then select the format that you prefer. You can search by keyword, author, or title, or you can select from the advanced search options.
To checkout a title, tap on “CHECKOUT”. Tap “READ” or “PLAY” to read or listen to the title in your browser (requires wifi or data). Tap “DOWNLOAD” to download the title to your device for offline reading or listening.
