Wisconsin Historical Society’s Andy Kraushaar will present Jim Widmer’s photographs and website link to “Spirit of Rural Wisconsin”. Join us at Theresa Public Library on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 6pm. Help us celebrate and honor Jim and Shirley Widmer’s contributions to preserving the history of Theresa.
We want to create a scrapbook of thank you’s, memories, congratulations, and pictures you are willing to share with us for Jim and Shirley Widmer. Theresa Public Library offers a Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.)®
program through B.A.R.C.C. Badgerland Animal Reading & Comfort Companions.
The mission of B.A.R.C.C. is to enrich the lives of people of all ages through the use of pet therapy and Reading Education Assistance Dogs.
Betty Boop and her owner Dar will be at the Theresa Public Library for you to read to on Tuesday, May 20th from 6:00-7:30pm. She is a trained reading/therapy dog. Reserve your 15 minute time slot and enjoy reading to your new friend. Dogs can’t read, but they can be good listeners! Their presence creates inviting and motivating environments. They listen quietly, and never interrupt!
You can choose from approximately 100 magazines to read on your desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device. These e-magazines can be downloaded and saved on your personal computing device to read whenever you wish. They don’t expire or have to be returned. beginning Saturday, October 5, 2013 through Saturday, May 17, 2014.
There are no Saturday hours during the summer.

Monday – Thursday 12:30pm – 7:30pm
Fridays 12:30pm – 5:00pm
