Storytime in April

Join Librarian Jackie for Storytime on Wednesday, April 16th at 10am.
The theme is Animals at Night.  Then on April 30th the theme is Ducks.
There will be stories, crafts, snacks & fun!  Preschoolers see your friends
(and make new ones).  Mom’s have fun too.

Celebrate the Widmers!

widmerWisconsin Historical Society’s Andy Kraushaar will present Jim Widmer’s photographs and website link to “Spirit of Rural Wisconsin”.  Join us at Theresa Public Library on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 6pm.  Help us celebrate and honor Jim and Shirley Widmer’s contributions to preserving the history of Theresa.

We want to create a scrapbook of thank you’s, memories, congratulations, and pictures you are willing to share with us for Jim and Shirley Widmer. If you have a thank you to go out to Jim and Shirley for all their work you can post it on our facebook or email us at tpl@mwfls.org.  Thank you for your help!

National Library Week

Reading Together
National Library week is April 13 - 19th.  Celebrate with us!
Families are encouraged to spend time reading aloud together,
or read for 15 minutes a night.  Cut out our reading star and bring
it to Theresa Public Library between April 14 and 17th to receive
a goody bag which includes a forgive a fine coupon. 

Food

We will also be holding our annual “Food for Fines” program from April 7 – 17th.
Each non-perishable food item you donate will eliminate $1.00 off your existing fine.
This does not include fines for replacement of lost or damaged items.

Reading Education Assistance Dog Program

Theresa Public Library offers a Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.)®
program through B.A.R.C.C. Badgerland Animal Reading & Comfort Companions.
The mission of B.A.R.C.C. is to enrich the lives of people of all ages through the use of pet therapy and Reading  Education Assistance Dogs.

Betty Boop and her owner Dar will be at the Theresa Public Library for you to read to on Tuesday, April 15th from 6:00-7:30pm.  She is a trained reading/therapy dog.  Reserve your 15 minute time slot and enjoy reading to your new friend.  Dogs can’t read, but they can be good listeners!  Their presence creates inviting and motivating environments.  They listen quietly, and never interrupt!

Library Hours

Theresa Public Library will be open from 10am to 12pm on Saturdays
beginning Saturday, October 5, 2013 through Saturday, May 17, 2014.
There are no Saturday hours during the summer.

           Library Weekday Hours:
Monday – Thursday   12:30pm – 7:30pm
      Fridays  12:30pm – 5:00pm
